A mean Tom Jones, Johnny Cash to perfection and most impressive over twenty five others. Greg London is great at what he does.

A Night of a Thousand Voices, with a smaller dressing room. Greg London is visiting the West End and for the next few weeks a slice of Vegas can be experienced at Leicester Square. With a show that compliments The Venue, a discarded sequined jacket quickly evolves ICONS into an entertaining evening of remarkable homages to a selection of icons of music history and Robbie Williams. London does hit the mark with some particularly cleverly observed and hilarious comedic elements; notably while deconstructing the lyrics of Tom Jones and Neil Diamond.

He has a fantastically adaptable voice; if you close your eyes you'll swear you really are listening to Tina Turner and a spot on Rod Stewart. And his rendition of 'Suspicious Minds' is award winning. But there's more to him too. Where in the world, without the use of strong or un-prescribed medication, will you get to experience a duet between Ozzy Osbourne and Kermit the Frog? The Venue, Leicester Square until the end of February.

There are two very different biographies for Greg London in the glossy programme. The first is a tongue in cheek homage to a local boy made good while the second, formal resume lists his impressive achievements, mainly on the US corporate gig circuit. It is easy to understand why London and his entourage have had such a successful career to date. With a spectacular, glitzy set and a slick band led by musical director David Zeman the evening is worthy of the Vegas stage and London with his fabulous backing singers Nina Millns, Abigail Rosser and Lucy Thatcher punch out some memorable numbers. The Icons of London is a frothy concoction full of colour and musical soundbites.

GREG LONDON has come to the city that bears his name and shone brighter than the lights on the Las Vegas strip. He’s a consummate mimic and entertainer of the highest form, perfectly impersonating every pop culture icon from Elvis to Tom Jones and Kermit the Frog! It’s impossible not to warm to a performer who claims he’s inspired by iconic voices in his head! Apparently, Elvis, Johnny Cash and a cast of thousands both inspire and help manage his aural schizophrenia, and audiences worldwide enjoy the results! The evening’s send-ups of Austin Powers and Ozzy Osbourne are comic tours de force and there’s a closing, poignant tribute to Elvis that stuns with its sheer conviction. No bloodless compilation musical like many infesting the West End, this show excels because it has a heart, passion and purpose, and the name of that passion is Greg London. See him – and his ICONS while you can.

London has a powerful voice and the stronger the singer he is impersonating, the better he gets. London's mix of showmanship, humour and all-important Icons should do well in his namesake city. London wheeled out some of the really big guns - Elvis, Sammy Davis Junior, Johnny Cash, Louis Armstrong, David Bowie and Neil Diamond, to name a few - I gave up counting after about twenty. The West End has been awash recently with shows that are composed of artists doing impressions of iconic singers. What makes this production work so well is that London, along with writer Paul Miller, has successfully created a personal narrative to bring the characters together using the story of his own attempts to gain a foothold in the music industry. London doesn't make the mistake of taking himself too seriously. He has the sense to send both himself and some of the ICONS up. It was a stroke of genius to pair Ozzy Osbourne with Kermit the Frog in a duet. The Prince of Darkness, didn't feel right about singing "Rainbow Connection"! Directed by West End veteran David Taylor, the show was carefully balanced between big numbers (Tom Jones 'It's not Unusual') and thoughtful ballads ('How can I mend this Broken Heart' by the Bee Gees). London's climactic performance as Elvis is absolutely worth waiting for.

THIS HUMAN JUKEBOX IS ON THE BUTTON . Greg London has a rare gift for impersonating the pop world's biggest artists. The ICONS in London showcases his uncanny vocal talent. Over two hours, he inhabits the sound and often, thanks to a quickly donned wig or shades, the look of more than 20 recording artists. Rod Stewart, Tom Jones, Johnny Cash, Neil Diamond, Billy Joel and Elvis Presley have all made it into his hall of fame, as have – some feat of mimicry this – Tina Turner and Macy Gray. This human jukebox could perform an entire gig in any pop persona of his choosing. It's the music that moves and uplifts. London is the polished conduit for it, and thank you to America for giving us the soundtracks to our lives.

Greg London is AMAZING I lost track of the number of impressions when he reached 50! There's nothing quite like this show in the West End. ICONS IN LONDON IS A NON-STOP MUSICAL MARATHON THAT TURNS INTO THE MOST FABULOUS PARTY. A MUST SEE.

Greg London finds the Elvis within him. He can sing as Johnny Cash and Tina Turner and he hears voices in his head, including that of Kermit the Frog. Greg London is not your average West End star (or maybe he is). Last night the American corporate entertainer and Las Vegas showman made his West End debut at The Venue, where the lively crowd was only too happy to join in with his renditions of American Pie and Mandy. Caroline Bishop sang quietly…The Icons In London: it's a clever pun that. Not only is Greg London doing impressions of 'icons' (for that read an eclectic list including Arnold Schwarzenegger, Louis Armstrong, Tom Jones and Barry Manilow) in the capital city that is London, he is also telling the story of his life as an entertainer and how the voices of these 'icons' occupied his head (in London, geddit?) and told him to make a living singing as an impressionist. The crowd at The Venue – which is quickly establishing itself as a theatre for 20 and 30-somethings – was only too pleased to laugh along with London's good-natured jokes. The singer rounded off the evening with a couple of numbers from the ultimate icon, Elvis Presley, sending the audience home feeling all warm and fuzzy. The Icons In London is running at The Venue until 24 February.
